But,like the article which says about the village girl singing about her fatherland by the river side and yet wanting to go to Thimphu for no reason represents the kind of illusion our youth have about the bright city lights. The day may not be far when there will be no one to sing songs by the riverside back in the villages if, like the girl, all others who nurture similar dreams make it to Thimphu and other urban centres leaving their villages behind.Gyembo Namgyalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11992640678592539804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8597820681723359992.post-66048259758071876632012-03-23T22:04:45.413-07:002012-03-23T22:04:45.413-07:00I agree with you, Gyembo. All otherchoetens, including the desecrated ones will still remain sacred with reinstatement of proper inner zung or sokshing (life force) sans treasures. <br />The vandals are after treasures. Treasures are not the most important part of any choetens, its life force (sok shing) is.Gyembo Namgyalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11992640678592539804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8597820681723359992.post-75868878250018149722012-03-17T00:59:36.409-07:002012-03-17T00:59:36.409-07:00Nice piece....makes me nostalgic..Nice piece....makes me nostalgic..Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
